An Original Pastel on Pastel Card - Approximate Image Size 11.52X15.5
Years ago, Sydney and her parents lived across the street from us when we lived in Lake View Terrace, Ca. Her dad moved their family to Vegas when she was still in high school, but fortunately my gregarious eldest son stayed in touch, as Syd and I have too, mostly via Facebook.
She has a great eye for beautiful vistas, and I love seeing her shots. This is the second shot of hers that I’ve painted. The other is ‘Las Vegas Desert in Bloom.’ I think the desert, with its ‘anything but dull colors and vistas,’ is the perfect subject to paint with pastel. I hope you will love this image as much as I’ve loved painting it! Debby Mellor, Artist
