A Little About My Framed Originals and Prints

My original pieces generally take 30-60 hours to complete, depending on the complexity and size of the piece.

When you hang one of my original watercolors, pastels or framed prints, I want you to see the image that I’ve created, not the reflections of your living room in the glass. To accomplish this, all my framed pieces have custom frames made specifically to my requirements, with either museum plexiglass or museum, non-glare, glass. I use these special glazing materials not only to protect the piece from dust and moisture, but also from unwanted UV light which can eventually allow the brilliant colors to fade and degrade over time.

Because the glass is so clear and because of the finish on the glass, oftentimes you cannot even see the glass. I started using special glass in 2021, and even though it costs a bit more, I just love the way it looks!

My printer uses a HIGH QUALITY giclée printing process to reproduce prints or my originals, and I can make prints in any size for you. My most popular sized prints are in 8 X1 0-ish and 11 X 14-ish sizes, not including the mat. I cut all my own mats, attach the print to the mat, add a foamcore board to the back and shrink-wrap each one. It is a time-consuming, hands-on process that I do myself. I also use all acid-free products to produce my prints and originals so they will maintain their brilliance for a lifetime!
